Patient Safety and Quality in the Baptist Health System

Baptist Health System is Committed to Providing Quality Care

Patients and families who seek care and healing in our facilities deserve a safe, quality experience. That's why everything we do at Baptist Health System is focused on advancing our patient's care and satisfaction. Our caregivers represent the face and hands of Baptist, so we provide the resources, training and standards of care necessary to ensure that every interaction is a positive one.

Quality of care is our number one priority and we are constantly striving to improve the patient experience. We believe that purposeful caregivers ensure that patients and their families experience safe, reliable and compassionate care, and we endeavor to create an environment that distinguishes our hospitals as preferred places to work, to practice medicine and to receive compassionate care.

Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)

As part of Baptist Health System’s commitment to quality health care, our facilities are regularly surveyed and inspected by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC).

Joint Commission accreditation involves evaluating a healthcare organization's performance in areas that most affect patient health and safety. These areas are defined in Joint Commission standards. By achieving accreditation, a health care organization makes a commitment to follow Joint Commission standards, which provide the framework for safe, quality care.

Baptist Health System is accredited by TJC. If you have questions or concerns about your healthcare facility you may contact TJC directly at the address, below.
